Cane Creek shock hardware for Transition Spur

I've treated my bike (Transition Spur) to a discounted CC DB inline air shock, found on eBay courtesy of the recent Alpkit eBay PSA.

I'm trying to find the correct hardware for it, but can't seem to find 25x8mm in stock anywhere.

Someone mentioned needle bearings, but I'm feeling a bit out of my depth- are these direct replacements for standard hardware?

I know I could take it to my local shop, but I do like to try to do most of my bikes myself.

Anyone care to help me out?

Sounds like you're sorted now, but just wanted to vouch for Bounce hardware being very durable, reasonably priced and seems to come in all the sizes.

I got one of those shocks for my Orange, I'm expecting the hardware on the stock Fox DPS will swap over, maybe just tweaking the spacers.

Thanks @chakaping, I did think maybe I'd be able to use the original hardware, but thought I'd best get some new just in case.

Looking forward to twiddling with the settings on the shock. But more advanced than anything I've had before.

@onecheshirecat - let us know how you get on with the shock, was eyeing up one of those Alpkit cheapies for my Spur too.

@devash will do. Probably take me the rest of summer to work out what settings I need.

Have you downloaded the Cane Creek app for the shock? Makes adjustments much easier to understand.

The app hasn't been updated in years.

I just followed the instructions in the manual which to be fair were very good compared to other manufacturers.
