Hi

I've got a Cane Creek Helm Mk2 and after giving it a little time to bed in I'm at the point where I want to investigate damper and pressure changes. However when I went to tweak the HSC/LSC dials yesterday the LSC dial (which is the inner one) wouldn't move. I slackened off the tiny central bolt, freed it up, and then retightened the bolt. The LSC dial now turns.

Here's the thing I'm not sure about: should it turn independantly of the HSC dial? From fully open, If I turn the HSC dial say 4 clicks, the LSC dial moves with it. The current HSC position in effect becomes the zero for the LSC. I can turn the LSC from there up no problem, but not back past the HSC dial's zero position. I'm not sure in this example whether the LSC has moved from zero or 4 clicks, if that makes any sense?

I can't find any vids online that show the dials being adjusted and the Helm manual (p18) doesn't really shed any light on this either. Any pointers?

Not much help but I've a Helm mkII*coil* that I've just sent to the bike builder, had an excited wee play in the box like a kid and everything seemed to be moving freely and independently.
How long have you been running it? Did you not get a basic set up when starting?

On my helm the LSC dial moves with the HSC, as does my 2014 pike and my daughter's 2008 Reba. I'd suggest this is normal.

Cotic were doing socially distanced collection when I picked the bike up so there wasn't a proper "Factory Collection/Set Up" available.

This is useful to know. All my previous forks have just had a single compression dial, so I've got no point of reference.
