Hi STW,

Please help a dumbass out, i'm over from Oz visiting my parents for a couple of weeks and after a single ride in the Wyre Forest Summer Mud i've noticed my headset is pretty rough.

The headset is a Cane Creek Forty

Top: 40ZS44 - Tall Cover Top
Bottom: 40.EC49

Looking for some better bearing, maybe some Enduro, but i'm just not getting what size I need, can anyone help me out? Ideally like next day delivery as I have BPW over the weekend.

Thanks in advance
Matt

Top bearing would be a 41mm, Cane Creek part number CHSS2030 if you want a direct replacement. Or if you'd like a higher quality Enduro Bearing one then Enduro part number EB8091 is a nice Stainless Steel version.

Assuming your using a tapered steerer tube then youd need a 52mm lower bearing. Cane Creek part number CBAA0006k for a direct replacement or Enduro Bearing part number EB9112 for a Stainless Steel version.
