Have you contacted Cane Creek?

At the price of eeWings I'd hope they'd send a replacement immediately hand delivered on a cushion by 12 virgins.

For a 2.5mm Allen key head, size is M3  it would be a socket head cap machine screw.

Other lengths are available, just measure the one you’ve got. Length quoted is measured below the head.

Edit: dunno what that spacer ring is made of, but if it’s stainless steel, be very careful if using stainless screws. Use a good dollop of anti-seize.

It’s not clear on the instructions, but my interpretation would be - 2.5 hex bolt,  would refer to the tool being 2.5mm, not the bolt.

A M2.5 bolt with a hex head (socket cap) would be a, hex head, 2.5mm bolt.

ExtraUK aren't listing the bolt as available as a spare part, only the complete ring including bolt @ £32.99 in various colours. The bolt is described as Grade 5 Titanium 2.5mm hex fastening bolt

It’s screwing into Aluminium, stainless is fine, you want M3x19mm

Well if we’re being pedantic, it’s actually a screw, not a bolt.

Cheers all.

I'll wait and see what CC come back with.  If the only option is to buy  a whole new preloader I'll explore that link up there ^^.

I'm not fussed about the bolt / screw being titanium.

This is the exact fixing you need

or type “fixings” in google maps to find a local supplier.

The bolts on the muc-off ones are even smaller 2.5 using a 2mm Allen/hex key,  terrible idea.

No virgins involved, just the postie, but I've just taken delivery of a replacement Pre Loader - no questions asked.

Tip top customer service.
