My shock currently has 22mm mounting kit either end using the spherical bearing 'bush' set up.
My new frame downtube mount is 25.4mm wide so I need to change one end of the shock mounting kit.
My digital vernier calipers (and physical test) show that an ordinary Fox bush doesn't fit, so I can't fit a standard heavy duty mount kit. It would appear...
Am I wrong? Is there an easy, off the shelf, solution? My LBS's are not exactly supporting my quest very well!
I don't really want to get some new ends caps machined because over a certain shock mount width the advice is go DU bush and pin.
TF Tuned couldn't help.
