Anyone fancy a subsidised trip to Italy? I'm looking for someone who can tow a trailer out to Lake Garda on the same dates as a proposed club trip. You'll get money towards your fuel and ferry and some free uplifts in the shuttle and free guiding. Share the journey with some mates and have a week of biking very very cheap. Travel out around 16th/18th May or maybe slightly later.

I should have added, I can help sort out accommodation, hotel, apartment, hostel, camping etc as I'm working out there all summer. The trailer is a brand new Burtech B20 braked trailer. Any questions, please ask. Cheers.

One of my friends Matthias Merschner from www.trailexperience.de wants a burtech railer, maybe you could buy together and organise some sort of delivery?

BTW are you using UK reg vehicles? these trailers cannot be used with Italian registered vehicles.

If you can wait until August I will be visiting parent in N Wales and can pass through Garda, or if you re in finale, I am based just 45 mins away.

Hi Nasher, thanks for the feedback. The trailer is being used by Italian vehicles and needs to be registered once there. It's needed for this season which starts end of April, so end of May delivery was already a slight compromise. I'll contact Matthias, I know him from his connection with Liteville, we met briefly last season at the Bike Festival in Garda.

Thanks for the offer.. it may still be useful as more trailers might be ordered if this one gets the thumbs up in Italy.

Well good luck with the registration, we tried to do this in Italy and basically it would have taken a year and a shed load of money, with no guarantee..

We now use box trailers with bikes hanging off each end like a pickup, cheap, just as quick to load as a burtech and can also use to carry luggage from airport.

we need to move 20 bikes at a time behind a minibus. The guy buying it has already been to the registration office with sample papers, all ok apparently... but yes, normally, Italy = nightmare redtapeville

We organised something similar for a group doing the Passportes du Soleil last year. Might well be able to help you out with this depending on the extent to which you'll cover costs. Feel free to drop me an email (in profile) if you want to discuss.
