1 year old frame and fork plus wheelset

Ribble winter audax - in 8/10 cosmetic condition (some scratches but NO dents dings) with carbon fork (size 56 or 58 - need to check)

Shimano hubs on mach 1 rims - new tyres (Vittoria 23mm)

Tektro brakes

Carbon seatpost

Tiagra double chainset (HT2) - year old - bb is spot on still

Tiagra rear mech (9 speed but being used with an 8 speed setup)

Sora front mech

Sora STIs, some scuffs to hoods from being upside down)

Sora 8 speed cassette and chain in VGC

Any idea on what its worth?

Is £320 posted about right or am i way off the mark?

I'd say that's about right tbh. I picked up a full bike minus the front wheel for £250, but i think that was a good deal.

They seem to sell for about £350 on Ebay.

£250 would be about top whack I reckon..

Taigra/Sora 8 speed is not really a positive selling point IMHO..

Consider what else you get for the money though. 300 quid gets nasty shifters on the stem etc.
You might well find a market for used 8 speed stuff if you upgrade. I wouldn't go past 300 though

If you think about it, a new one with Tiagra 9sp is only £580, I think that is a whole lot more than £260 better than yours, sorry

I would have thought you'd get £200-220 all day long but have to hawk it around a bit to get £250

the new one at £580 is SORA NOT tiagra

The new ones new ...yours is used , your drive train might as well not be on the bike ..... Its worn. The new one is new ...even if it was sora its worth more than 260 quid 😉

a worn out drive train regardless of the spec is not as good as a new one.

Agreed.
Sora is now 9 speed.
And with Shimano this year's Sora is probably not too dissimilar from last year's Tiagra. Its the trickle down of benefits from the top groups. Makes 8 speed look positively ancient (and cheap as chips on ebay! :-))

A new one for £580 is a very good deal. Means their new steel winter bike can be had for as little as £650?

rsx 500s are cracking shifters. mrs old winter bike has em

sorry not worn out , but your used for a year drive train. whats the chain stretch at then .... ill bet its worn out by the guidelines (or you didnt ride it at all)

either way it is not NEW which is the important point.

Owner in "not worth as much as i hoped" shock.

not at all - just confused by your poor use of English that's all. Essentially I have at most £200 for a new drivetrain, i am trying t`o work out if it's more financially viable to get rid and buy a new bike or just spend the cash on the groupset.

i only need shifters - if they don't have a downshift button then that would be great and we can sort cash
