I want to replace the frame grommet in my Whyte 909. I figured the easiest way is to thread the rear brake cable through the frame using the lever end, but can you remove the Stealthamajig without cutting the hose?

Yes, they just unscrew. The outer red 'olive' is a reverse thread, so clockwise to unscrew.

You only need to take off the red bit, the silver bit sits flush with the hose.

It's been on there a while, so the red outer wouldn't budge. I ended up unscrewing the silver inner and the red outer came away with it. Shocked at the price of replacements!
