Are they the same as 2012s that you can remove the spacers to get 130/140mm?
Thanks

2013 revs are solo air and not' spaceable' you need a n air spring assembly of the correct length, these are about £50

Sektors again will need the coil spring replacing or a uturn or dual position unit fitting

Cheers Simon, a mate is looking for some 140mm travel forks.
The solo air sektors would need changing the air spring assembly as the Revs I guess?

I'm not trying to cause any controversy here & I fully appreciate Loco's expertise, but answer this question for me please.

I bought a set of 2103 140 mm travel Solo Air Rev's from TF. I needed them to be 120 travel to go on the Solaris I was building. The forks arrived "spaced down" to 120mm & seem to be working properly. I explained to TF exactly what I needed & I was told that it was a simple job.

I'm wondering, have I got a 2013 fork or no ?

D.

It'll be a different air spring assm. Spacing doesn't work due to the negative transfer port which is on the inside of the stantion, they'll have factored it into the cost which is why you pay more 😉

Whilst the 2013 Revs require a different air spring assembly to change the travel, according to the manual Solo Air Sektors continue to be adjustable with internal 'all travel' spacers.

Hello again Davesport.

As u know I also have a Solaris & wanted Revs lowered to120mm.

Then came the long & painful wait on my above mentioned 'Air Spring Assembly'

Anyway, finally got it about 6 weeks ago, had it fitted & it transformed the bike, feels a lot more planted - well happy! 🙂

I would be interested to know your axle to crown (just below headset cup) length measurement please.

Cheers,

Alan.

Whilst we're on the topic, can 2012 revs be spaced down? I need to take my 29er 140mm Rev to 120mm for my Solaris.

If they're dual air yes. Have a set of 2012 rct3 dual air Revs set at 120mm on my Albert classic

Mine are solos. I assume that means a new air spring assembly?
