As above going from fox 36 float down to a 44 rc3 ti in terms of stiffness. I weigh 95kg so not overall light. Just thinkng the 36 floats are a bit much.

Any real world experience would be much appreciated?

Dunno but I just ordered a set for my new 5 spot. From what I read they aren't going to be as stiff but that will be more than compensated by the plushness, can't wait! I didn't go for the tapered steerer though as then I would have to run an external lower headset race and I don't want to slacken it any more, wonder if there is a noticeable difference between tapered and non? I feel another thread coming on....

I've got a set of Lyriks and a set of Revs that I swap about sometimes. Yes, I can notice the difference, it's pretty clear/borders on unmissable... But tbh I don't care much, I never think "Oh, wish I had the Lyriks on, these are a bit flexy"

The mincing about I call riding a bike.
Had thought of lowering the 36's but if that's the case sort of says they aren't really needed.
