[Closed] Can you fit pegs to any BMX?

7 yo daughter keeps going on about putting pegs on her BMX (Mongoose Blaze).

Can we safely fit them on the rear or are 'special' axles required?

14mm axles would be best. 10mm can bend easier. Then again at 7 I doubt she'll be heavy enough to bend the 10mm!
