You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Just noticed a lot of play, can't find a good thread on adjusting them and I don't want to tinker before my club ride.
The bearings are a cartridge type, front ones on my road bike were more wobbly than the rears when I did the change. They are the same bearing as hope use with one less seal on the inside to cut down on drag.
The rear freehub bearings are also changeable if you have a long reach circlip tool or a couple of small screwdrivers and much patience.
Replacement is fine, just wondering if i could tweak them for tomorrow.
I wasn't able to make them stop rocking, but then I'm not an improvising genius. 🙂
FYI it was easy, loosen bearings clamp. turn the spacer by hand. re tighten clamp. Job done.
I will order new bearings though.
That's good to know. Thanks.
