After leaving my lovely Scott carbon soled road shoes in the heating cupboard to dry out after a soaking they received on my last major outing, I discovered that one of the shoes had fallen to the floor overnight and a passing mouse has decided to have a wee nibble on the bit I can only describe as the Achilles heel padding/shoe liner(it's the piece of foam with mesh covering that protects your heel and runs around the top of the shoe to where it meets the front of the shoe).
Anyhow, I popped them into my local shoe repair place and if it's anything other than sticking on a heel or resole they're not interested. Does anyone know of any place online that I could send them to or preferably where I could buy material for repairing/replacing the foam/mesh part?
Find a good furniture restorer or upholsterer , they will use the materials and glues that may be needed to fix the shoes.
