I have a Vitus Nucleus 27 VRS and noticed the specs of the rear hub are 135mm x 9mm QR on the Vitus and Wiggle website, although elsewhere it says 10x145x135.

In an article on the bike, the reviewer states ‘it uses a 9×135mm quick-release (QR), limiting wheel upgrade options.’

I thought a rear wheel was 10 x 135 QR and the front 9x135 QR ?

Can anyone explain what I have, how its measured and what other size wheel would replace it.

Yes, QR rear is 10x135 and front is 9x100. Nominal. In reality there are variations (3/8" is 9.5mm) because standards have never been standard.

Any modern QR or solid axle wheel spaced for 135mm OLD (OverLock Distance) will fit, don't sweat it.

Yep any 135mm QR will fit.

Nukeproof sell end caps for both their Neutron & horizon wheels so the 142mm x 12mm wheel can be converted to 135mm QR.
