Correct, lots of people run gravel bikes with drop bar AXS shifters and a 1x12 eagle AXS drivetrain.

The only stuff that's not compatible is the original etap stuff, I think.

Yep, using Rival drop bar shifters with GX AXS mech on my Secan - and you can have a Reverb AXS on there too, push both paddles to drop the saddle

Thanks all, I was going to change bikes to a hardtail but I've decided keep and upgrade the Pipedream Alice. I've literally no need for a mtb in deepest darkest east anglia.

Can I also check please am I right in thinking this will work with this enabling me to run up to a 52t at the rear and not have to purchase a new rear mech?
