Because my 10 year old boy is sucking up all the cash with his riding and racing. 😆
…just be thankfull he didn’t want a horse - takes burning £20 notes to a whole new level!! 🤣🤣
Just learn to differentiate between 'Need' and 'want'...
Indeed it hurts...
I'm two down (18+, they buy thier own bikes) and one last one about 3 months from leaving home....
Mine is trying to talk me into a Santa Cruz v10cc
I’m sure that’ll be no issue
Lol you couldn't be more wrong. Admittedly we could sell his GTs and straight swap into a V10. But nah, he's got bugger all chance of this currently
Lol nah. Imo having the 2nd bike is massively important for 'just in case' situations. I'd hate for example to got to Rheola this weekend, track walk Fri, practice all day on Sat and the something to break on Sunday morning and us have to go home without racing.
Sooo… you’ve considered it?
That’s how it starts
Pmsl
Welcome to the club. I've had hand me downs for years. 😁
Where there's a will there's a way 😉
I’ve had hand me downs for years. 😁
Yeah but your hand-me-downs are usually Sworks 😀
I've got a just turned 11yr old who is trying very subtlety to get me to buy him a Scott Spark, he's got a Scale 950 and hopped on my mates wife's Spark at the weekend and promptly wheelied it and said this is ace 🤦🏼♂️
I'm on the comprise path, saying he can have one for his next bike when he grows out of his Scale, so it should buy me a couple of years at least
Yep. My 9 year old is on a 27.5 and the 11 year old on a 29er and they’re now able to clean techy climbs and roost berms. It’s exciting to chase them now and take them to new places.
