My halo vapour rear wheel is shagged. I have the supadrive hub and it engages but every few minutes makes a hideous klonk where the itsy weeney pawls don't quite drop into the ever so tiny drive ring splines ( I knew this would be too fragile for single speed). So I need a new wheel and have seen some nice sun Ringle Duroc 40mm wheels on eBay but they're boost and through axle jobbies.
Not knowing all that much about new fangled hub tech I'm not sure if I can squeeze these into the rear drop outs of a mk2 stooge frame or get the front into the rigid forks plus not sure if you can get through hub conversions (caps) to make standard QR? It seems that most of the plus wheels are boost variety now so I may be limited on reasonable cost options.

I think you're out of luck on this one.

You can convert some hubs from thru axle to QR, but boost spacing is wider than normal spacing so the boost hubs will be too wide even if you fit QR end caps.

148x12mm thru axle boost rear becomes 141mm QR
110x15mm thru axle boost front becomes 110 QR

The Stooge is 135mm rear and 100mm front I believe so you'd need non boost hubs.

Superstar currently have 25% off wheel builds and allow you to choose boost or normal in thru axle or QR configurations.
