Bought 150mm travel Rev's for my new 456 Carbon build but think they could be too long as the geom feels too slack, I think it would run better with 140mm (trial and error I guess.

Can these be reduced at all do you know?

Thanks in advance

Yep,

Check out the rockshox site, there are service guides on there. I currently have mine set at 130mm using 20mm spacer so guess you just need to try and find a 10mm spacer.

did you buy the forks new? Mine (bought new from merlin) came with spacers in a plastic bag (despite obviously being OE as they came in a generic box not an RS box).

No I didn't, they were fitted to a Cannondale I believe but the guy swapped them out after 4 weeks. They are as new but don't come with these. I will put on the wanted page and see if I can get them from RS.

Are they hard to fit / adjust?

Cheers in advance

Just let the air out and put in back starting with the negative. You'll be able to reduce them down to 140mm quite easily.
