142mm rear wheel in to 135mm qr blur ltc rear triangle?

It's only 7mm after all or is it more like a bridge too far?

QR adapters will also make it 135 surely? No one uses a 142 with QR axle standard.

Now I'm lost.

There are mavic enduring wheels going cheap on crc.

But I know nothing about this 142 standard thing. Got bored after headsets got complicated beyond reasonable variations.

So, in short. Is that wheel set going to fit my 135 based rear end?

Don't see why not, if you can buy an adapter to reduce it down from 142 x 12 to 135 x 10 it'll fit. The Nukeproof hubs I bought recently were 135 x 12 so I bought a 135 x 10 adapter to use them in my HT, then I bought a new frame so had to buy some 142 x 12 adapters to use them in that. Pas de problème!

No hassle! 😀 It's only the axle width and diameter that changes, the actual hub width (disc mount to freehub) doesn't change across the three standards I mentioned. No idea (or a care) about this newly fangled Cadbury's Boost thing though.

Would a standard skewer be long enough?

Is that a trick question? 😉

Go to the mavic tech pages and see what you can get. 142 hubs are generally the same as the 135mm version with a different end cap. See hope on the subject. The extra width is used inside the drop outs.
