How would I go about this if it's possible?
Or is it just to much hassle and expense.
Personally I messed about with "ghetto" tubeless and never found it worth the hassle- I'm sure I could have got it to work reliably, eventually, but the investment of time was too much, and in the meantime burps were worse than punctures and spoiling rides. 321s being what they are, I imagine you'd be doing some hard riding on 'em too which is going to ask more of your setup.
YMMV of course and I'm sure others will disagree, but I'm a big fan of tubeless with proper rims (and just about any old tyre) but I'll not spend time on DIY again.
I ran my 321s ghetto tubeless for a few years; they've now got stans rim strips in instead as it seemed to make more sense in the long run as they're much easier to reuse. Both systems worked fine!
