[Closed] can i fit tapered forks to a non tapered head tube??

As title really Im looking at getting some new forks for my pitch and most of the good deals are with tapered forks??

is there a headset conversion or something that will allow me to fit this type of forks??

Maybe.
Forks tapered 1.5" to 1 1/8 will fit in non-tapered 1.5 headtube (with an adapter at the top) They won't fit into a 1 1/8" headtube though (unless you use an inverse shim)

ah pish !!! back to the drawing board then....

im after a set of 150/160mm air forks normal steerer and 20mm front hub.....

suggestions please, new or used !!!

I thought you could fit one to an internal headtube with an adaptor headset thingy.

cant you have the 1.5 steerer pressed out and a 1. 1/8 one made up and pressed back in, as you say some stoming deals on the tappered type, money saved could go towards that, of course use a good eng comp 😀
