I need a BMX 4 peg freewheel remover. In return I promise to take good care of your precious, a rapid turnaround, some sweeties in the return jiffy and also to be your best mate*. Mail me if you can help.

helpmybike@yahoo.co.uk

*only valid till the end of lunchtime and no sitting next to me on the bus

Thankfully I'm not from Stockport. I'm only here to find out what they're hiding. Why else would a town go to such lengths to make itself look so crap??? All I've found in 15years is a brick viaduct and a hat museum. You heard me a hat museum....a museum for ****in hats!!!

That's nearly as bizarre as the Iceland Penis Museum.

Nearly.

You'll need a decent length spanner as well. I bought a 2' long monster known as "The persuader" for £11, and it took all my weight plus that of my teen to loosen the freewheel on my SS.

in a similar vein to TIRed i really struggled till i stuck the tool in a vise with a tyre on and turned the wheel.

No, but I've got a singlespeed 🙂

Have also got large spanners and a vice, so bring the wheel if it's possible.

Not in South Manchester you haven't.

And it's not a whole pyramid. It's more of a ziggurat.

We went to the hat museum (being cultered and everything) and it was most informative.
'Christie hats' were made in Stockport - toppers and bowlers, so very posh.
Agree about the town centre being a shed, which needs bulldozing.

It's not all bad, just the middle bit. I went to the Hat museum when I was 6. Can't say it changed my life.
