I have a weekend away biking approaching.

There's a group of 4 of us staying at the Bridges YHA https://www.yha.org.uk/hostel/yha-bridges and I'm after some route ideas.

Ideally a 20/25 mile ride, mostly (ideally entirely) off road, not necessarily looking for anything much more technical than a trail centre blue.

Long Mynd isn't that far away but would rather keep any driving to a minimum.

Any suggestions?

"staying at the Bridges YHA"  "Long Mynd isn’t that far away but would rather keep any driving to a minimum"

The Bridges (the The Horse shoes in old money) in on the Mynd 🙂 You have got the Mynd, The Stiperstones and Eastridge right on your door step. No driving.

Drop me a Pm and come up with some routes for you later.  I'm off to ride my bike in Eastridge now:-)

I did this one. It goes past Bridges.

Quite long but you could shorten it if you wanted. For example, when you drop Minton Batch it sends you left on a pointless road ride. Turn right instead straight away and cut that bit out.

Thanks for the replies.

SpeshPaul, that would be brilliant will drop you a PM in the morning when the effects of an impromptu evening in the pub has worn off
