A friend has just moved to Wimbledon and is looking for a good LBS to frequent / get a road bike from. Any recommendations?

Not exactly in Wimbledon, not really that close, but not a million miles away, I'd recommend Cycleworks in Leatherhead.

Moose Cycles would be the one that springs to mind in that area but only visit once so can't give much feedback.

Pop over to Bicycle in Richmond, or Pearson's in Sheen. Good local LBS's.

+1 for moose, they are more mtb focused but very nice people.

GB cycles is a good roadies shop

tbh evans in wimbledon is ok to buy from

AW cycles in south wimbledon good for repairs and odds and sods, proper old shop with two gents in warehouse coats one of whom has been working there for just over 60 years
