Can anyone help with this Shimano tool?

I'm currently trying to save an intense 5.5 from bike heaven and get a friend back into riding by having a working bike. I've managed to replace the bearings, and rethread the suspension links and axles that had seized and rusted.
It needs a new BB and I need the tool to extract the cranks which are shimano xtr m970. The tool is called the TL-FC35 crank removal tool. They are available but Typically £46. I'm looking to borrow or buy one if anyone has one lying around. Happy to cover postage costs both ways for a loan. I'm based near Loughborough. Thanks in advance for any help.
