You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
Would like to go over to Morgins this week, but would really love to have a gpx file to follow, if anyone would care to share one that would be great
Thanks
Â
Sorry can’t give a gpx but, if you have a car, the answer is to drive round and have the full day there
Up Super Morzine.
Up Zore
Find your way to Col de la Joue Vertex and go down The Goat. Do not descend on the road to Les Linderets but continue towards Les Brochaux.
Up Mosettes lift.
Down to Croix de l' Hiver. Do not take track to Lac Vert/ Refuge de Cheserey.
Take track down to Portes du Soleil. Turn left, down to La Torvassiere. Morgins will be signposted by now.
If you have a car it's better to drive.
DM me if you really need a gpx.
ive just DM'd you thanks

It's easier now since they opened up the lift that takes you right into the heart of Avoriaz. After Zore ride down to the Proclou lift. Up that, then head to Mossettes. Saves a lot of time Vs the old PPDS routeÂ
Do you still have to get the bus back to Chatel? If so factor that in for the return.Â
Â
You can pedal from the top of Morgins, to Crosets, up Mossettes lift and then ride down past Lac Vert to Lindarets, you can then roll down to Lac de Montriond for a beer before rolling back to Morzine. Around 700ft of climbing and 15miles.
Need to be careful with the Morgins/Mossettes lift closing,Â

Or have a huge climb when you are already tired then an epic night ride home using just a penlight.Â
One of my all time favourite rides
Â
As others have said, drive there and back if that's a possibility. The ride there is scenic (obv) but pretty dull, and then you're watching the clock the whole time you're there.
Â
IMO Morgins is the best area on the PdS by a mile. Those trails are built with love to be ridden FAST and actually maintained. You want to spend the whole day there, not just a couple of hours, to get into the groove.
Â
After a full day you'll come off the hill thinking "why don't we just base ourselves here??"Â
Â
Then you'll go into the wee supermarket, look at the price of a packet of crisps and realise why.
