Saw it whilst travelling home today and was smitten.. lovely skinny frame, wide bars, drilled super fat rims. Alas my son/wife would be useless at espionage and failed to get a really clear shot!!

If anyone can help me it has to be the STW hive mind! 😀

I think you need the BB Embed codes down the bottom of the page (if this works)

Haro did top tubes that shape way back when.
Not sure a bike that old would take tyres that fat though

Cheers Wally I was struggling 😂 The bike looked amazing - couldn’t see an obvious brand (weather and driving didn’t help) - felt like a current bike not a retro one, esp the drilled rims.

Wish I had tried to get my wife to wond her window now and ask! 😊

No front gusset welded on and the rear is two stays on the Kobe rather than a Cotic Soul style. Feel I’m going to be dreaming about this bike for a while!

Kobe wouldn't fit fat rims though.

The only bike I ever kept was my Kobe, although it's not been ridden for many years now.

Ooh will google that now - just realised there is a 2020 DMR Trailstar that takes a 2.8 tyre so thought maybe that.

Most likely a (2020?) Trailstar with some big old moto/cruiser bars (Surly Sunrise?). Look at the ‘extra’ material at the seatpost/top-tube junction (a brace?) and the straight brace-tube on the rear triangle (NDS)? Both 2016 and 2020 models took a 2.8 tyre AFAIK

XL Trailstar.
The XL has a curved gusset at the TT & ST join.
Will take 3.0" tyres too.

Here's mine...

The one in the OPs photo has Surly Sunrise bars on I'd say.
