as stated, don't care what brand or shop, so long as baggy, good quality and not ridiculous garish colour (call me vain if you like) . . . oh and less than 30 quid. Any suggestions or sales happening?

I got mine from Aldi. They were about £12 and included a removeable inner.

Sports direct, £20. Do me alright. Had one pair for about 18 months now I think which see a lot of use commuting & MTBing. They come with a liner which is probably shit, I cut it out and use them with bibs.

brilliant, thanks for the heads up people! Think sports direct is the go, either 16 or 25 quid.

Decathlon's normally worth a look for cheap bike gear. Good value (i.e. cheap but not rubbish)

Not tried them yet but they look like well made no frills shorts.
The inners are not great but are removeable and i never use the ones that come with MTB shorts anyway.
