Hi

Have some bits to go on my bike (rear cassette, headset into frame and tighten up BB), but unfortunately I don't have the right tools for the job.

Popped into a few bike shops to get a quote and decided this would not be a good idea, due to it costing a little more than expected 😯

Anyway can anyone help who has the right tools for the job? Happy to contribute towards some beer money 😀

Where in Cardiff are you?

Have you tried you guys at Punk Bikes?

Take them a beer along and have a chat with Marcio, top bloke if a penchant for building some truly weird bikes, always worth a try

Where are you? I might be able to lend you the tools. I just don't have a bike stand, so you'll be faffing with the bike on the ground, or upside down.

I'm in Barry and have those tools and a stand, drop me an email to the address in my profile if you want. You may be better off buying your own as you'll almost certainly use them again and they are pretty cheap. Except maybe the headset tool.

use some threaded bar and flat plate washers for the headset it's ok if you take your time and the head tube doesn't need facing.

Hi. I will definitely be investing in tools. I know it sounds wierd, but I want to put all my spare funds into getting the build done and into the mountains, then getting the tools. Will pm you :-).....thanks
