They stopped making. them before 15mm front axles came along I think. However it may be possible to machine the std. QR axle out to accept a 15mm axle, as its outer diameter is 20mm.

They were only ever designed to be 9 x 100 or 20 x 110 so no 15mm adaptors are available from hope. However, it's not a tricky thing to do for a half competent machinist.

Yeah, You use Pro2 15mm ends and do this:
In fact all you need to do (for a 6 bolt bulb - I learnt today that 5 bolt are different) is chop off a bit of one of the end pieces, just at the point where the (easily removable) silvery metal ring sits. I used a hacksaw - it's very soft alloy - and then tarted it up a little with a file.

SO, get some 15mm caps and chop one up. I'm as close to certain as I can be that the "real" 15mm ones will work the same, though mine were machined-down QR ones

Silly question, but has anyone tried just dropping in a set of pro 2 15mm ends? After all, off the top of my head, it's the same bearing. Just the width to consider really but you'd think they'd sit the bearings as wide as they could on both.

The pro 2 addapters can be machined to fit, You need to take 1.2mm of the inside and 4mm from the outside.
I could send you a drawing or even machine them for you?

Delibury any chance of the drawing, if you have it made up?
I know I could keep this thread in my favorites but a drawing in my mtb file (pile of shite) for reference would be nice..

Hi Delibury, could I have a copy of the drawing too, have the same issue at this end. The hubs just keep going and I see no reason to bin them if a simple fix is possible. Thanks.

I just machined off 6mm from the non disc side Pro2 15mm spacer and it works perfectly.

Delibury, could you send me those too please, front wheel is almost 13 years old now, but still runs perfectly, this would open up the choice of replacement forks for my HT.

Del, you don't post a lot but you look to be an engineering type, so might want to add to this last thing you made thread (even if it's a machined set of Pro II adpater to fit Bulb hubs), as skills like need to be appreciated

Ah, True, now I think about it I had to take a smidge off the little "lip" on the inside as well, to get a perfect fit.
Didn't measure owt, though 😳
