Peebles (for pubs) rather than spitting distance of Glentress.

Basically- quietish, secure with good shower block.

There's 2 in the town!

This is probably the better of them

Thats the one on Edinburgh road, used that, nice, up there at weekend too maybe..or a spot of "wild" camping.

Also recommend the bunkhouse.

Google gives facts, STW gives experience and opinion of mountain bikers.

Horbags - bunkhouse would be good.

If Rosetta is the better of the two I dread to think what the other one is like. Stayed at Rosetta last summer it was tired and run down, we we're camping with a van in the lower caravan area and it was like a ghost town.

Crossburn or Rosetta, but I prefer Crossburn.

We stay at the Rosetta two or three times per year .... always seemed fine to me. Just booked in there for Easter so I hope it's OK.

With the van we normally head for the hardstanding in the lower field - not sure whether that makes any difference.

Been to Glentress for the last 3 years.

Fisrt year we camped at Rosetta for a week, it was ok. One of the blokes showers was broken and the other was stupidly hot. Ladies ones were lovely 🙂
But it was tired and lots of the tent pitches are on a slope WTF.

Second year we rented the tweedvalleybikehouse for 4 nights and loved it.

This year we have the bikehouse for a week as it was perfect to use for 6 of us.

I wouldn't camp again.
