Try "How Stean Gorge" http://www.howstean.co.uk in Nidderdale, Yorkshire Dales. Great location, very nice campsite with good facilities and amazing hospitality from "Stan" the owner. Ask him to take you down the gorge for some real excitement!

Also loads of great biking to be had!

Langcliffe Park is quite posh and only 10mins walk from Settle village
A bit pricey ... but has good facilities

Howgill Lodge campsite near Appletreewick is nice. Not very convenient for the pubs in Appletreewick though.

Avoid Howarth Farm campsite in Skireholme.

On the edge of Ilkley Moor is Brown Bank Caravan Park. I rode past it last week when I was out on my bike, looked well kept with nice enough views.

Knight Stainforth is good. Great swimming spot at the bottom of the site, pub a short walk away.

I once (early eighties) drooled over some mature actress at that Stainforth campsite (filming some tv series there), I can't remember her name (think Felicity Kendal in the Good Life). It'll come to me in a minute.
