i'm just thinking of a couple of long rides out and didn't want to take the tent.

anyone any thoughts?

I've cycled past this place a few times - it's in a great location by the river Swale and surrounded by awesome riding.

There is also the accommodation at the Dales Bike Centre - http://www.dalesbikecentre.co.uk/accommodation.html

dales mountain bike centre in grinton, swaledale .easily googled. barn style accom odation bike shop cafe etc or camp in the field for 3 quid if your tight like me. fantastic riding and brill countryside

Dales Bike Centre is a good call. Have also used some of listed on this site as a group, some but not all will let beds by the night rather than booking the whole thing.

Another vote for Keld bunkhouse here, good little campsite too if you like a bit more of a remote base to do some big days out from.
