Morning all

My 10 speed Campagnolo Veloce chain is getting near to the point where it needs to be replaced.

Is anyone on here running a Campagnolo groupset with a less expensive chain from a different manufacturer?

Will I regret trying to save a few quid?

Ta in advance.

I’ve always used KMC. You don’t need a special tool to join the chain together again either.

I would not change from Campa to KMC. All my chains are Campa, 9, 10 and 11 speed.

But I'm using KMC/YBN quick links to make my life easier.

Cheers!
I.

I use KMC with no issues at all.

I use a Campag chain with KMC link. Although I've changed the link more than once because it's gone a bit sloppy.
The first time I looked I thought I'd got a Shimano 105 chain, but on inspection it said 10 S.

Cheers all.

I've just had a look and over the years (10 or so) my Veloce groupset has been replaced with:

- Miche cassette (so I could use a set of Mavic wheels with a shimano free hub body)
- TA Chainrings
- BBB Jockey wheels.

Seems little point in splashing out on another Campagnolo chain!

KMC or Sram on my Campag 10 speed always. Get yourself a chain checker and change it when it reaches the minimum wear point. You should get three chains to one cassette.

Usually use sram, campag chains are a pain, kmc quick links on a campag chain though. I use Kmc chains too, all good. I have campag on all my road bikes.

I used a Mavic chain when I ran Campag 10 speed. Still some around at £25ish
