Christmas is over so time to plan the summer holiday. Can any one recommend a family friendly campsite on Anglesea car camping with 6 man tent for two adults and one 6 year old , clean showers /toilets would be a real sweetener to the deal, as would easy beach and pub access.

Never stayed here, but got a half decent Full Welsh breakfast for the butty wagon on site after a beach bivi further around the coast..
A decent pub next door, and a cafe that has Sierrra Nevada on tap...

thanks for that based on the fact you have eaten from their burger van and the no hot water for campsite washing I am now thinking of going over budget and renting one of their cottages.

Have stayed there (Church Bay) - Kept awake all night by "joy riders" ragging cars up and down the lanes, doing handbrake turns and sounding their horns past the site. May have been a one-off...

We've stayed at Tyddyn Isaf before which was ace.

You can walk to the beach via a footpath, nice and clean showers and toilets, plenty of space for our Outsell Montana 6 and decent grub from their restaurant. The guy there makes excellent homemade pizza using Caputo flour so one evening he and I had a bit of a pizza off. Nice place and hope to go back this year.

Not Anglesey but whilst we're commenting on campsites in that area, on the coastline opposite in the pic up there ^^ just south of Caernarfon is an excellent campsite called Aberafon - http://www.aberafon.co.uk/
