My trusty Blowfish has finally given up after many years loyal performance

I would buy another but can't find one, so what alternative (Camelbak) should I be looking to?

I like the look of the small pockets in the front of the waist straps

Cheers

I've been using a Skyline 10LR for the last few months. Keeps the weight low, has pockets on the waist strap and holds enough stuff for a day in the mountains for me.

Skyline user here also, does everything well, really like the low center of gravity on the back, very comfortable for long days.

^^ Good review, thanks

Is the Osprey's hydration better integrated than the Skyline?

I bought a Lobo a few days ago.... £20 cheaper than most other places too!

Wing nut Hyper :up

2 zipped pockets you can reach without removing it and two elasticated mesh ones you can loosen/tighten with one hand without removing it. Keeps the weight low and reduces sweaty back syndrome.

Isn't the Wing Nut Mahoosive though?

Same as a MULE, so not that big...

No problem, cheers! 😀

Not sure by what you mean by 'integrated', but the bladder in the Skyline is easy to access and remove, particularly as the hose unclips from it so no need to faff with threading the hose through every time. My Osprey Raptor is a few years old now and was much better than my previous MULE, but prefer the Skyline to the Osprey now definitely.

The Skyline looks just a little lacking on height - I have a longish pump for example?

If my memory serves me the Blowfish had a zip extension for increased capacity. It isn't biking specific but I really like my Octane 18X.

It has pockets on the waist belt and pockets on the shoulder straps.
It has two mesh pockets for stashing bottles etc (they're the same colour as the rest of the bag and so don't show up well on web images)
Fully open it can take pads etc for riding uphill but packs a little smaller for the descents.

That's what I really like about the Blowfish - winter and I carry a light woolen and jacket for the pub stops so the expansion is great

Summer, don't need it, so smaller mode
