Just bought above in a sale. Several good reviews and looks good. But am having difficulty working out how the reservoir compression straps work. I can find the buckles but they are behind the waistband pockets and can't be reached. So how do I adjust? Can anyone who uses one help?

The ends of the adjustment straps should poke out from behind the pockets by the centre buckle.
You can then pull on them to adjust the compression.
Loosening is a little bit of a faff as you have to either manipulate the adjuster through the pocket or stick your fingers into the gap behind the pocket.

Having re-read that I'm not sure I explained it very well 🙂

I used them once when I first got the pack , pain in the arse to push them pack in and while they were out I kept thinking I was going to lasso the undergrowth .
You dont need them to get all but the last few ml .

@AD - that seemed to me what was required but I thought there ought to be something better.

Seems a bit pointless.

Ahh! I made the same purchase, put it on for the first time, spotted the extra loops so gave them a tug, (not knowing what they were) and was left with, fner, dangley bits that I couldn’t get back in, as I couldn’t get at the buckles inside the pockets with my sausage fingers!!
Thanks for solving the puzzle. (Wont touch them again)
