Now then,
I've bought myself a nukeproof mega and was hoping a wheelset I had in the garage was gonna work with it just fine. However the rear wheel does not....
Now I know literally nowt about wheels and hubs. The situation is that the maxle rear axle supplied with the frame is slightly larger in diameter than the axle from my old wheel. So, although the hub appears to be the correct width the maxle doesn't fit through the hole...
I guess my questions are: Does anyone know what type of hub/axle my old wheel has? (It says specialized but no serials). Can I adapt this hub in anyway to take the maxle or do I need a new one and a wheel build?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maxle at top and weird Specialized thing underneath
Your current hub is a 10mm bolt through hub. The Mega is a 12mm.
I don't think that your current hub is convertable but I am not 100% on that.
Off an SX Trail maybe? Looks like a 10mm boltthrough for standard QR dropouts, rather than a 12mm Maxle.
Thanks for the swift responses. The wheel came off a Mountain Cycle Battery.
2mm is gonna cost me here on a build where cost is already on the up. Doh!
Any ideas on a cheapish rear hub/wheel that would do the job? The rim is a bit ropey anyway so a good excuse for a new wheel.
