You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
We're not moving it to a beach, just for you 😉
Single track needs to be 4.0"+ or i won't fit 🙂
I'm also debating whether to bring the fat bike
I love this thread.

We're not moving it to a beach, just for you
how rude
Hear ye, hear ye
Start: Market place in Cirencester, opposite HSBC
Date: Sunday 17th September but you know that already
Time: Wheels roll 10:30am so if you're a pred-ride faffer, allow time for faffing cos when we're gone, we're gone.
I'll be on a red hardtail, with a bright green pack. There's loads of car parks in town for your T5/Audi.
As stated up there somewhere /\, if there's loads of us we'll employ a rolling sweeper; first to a gate/junctions waits for everyone to go through whilst holding the gate/pointing the way, then rides at the back as sweeper. That way we don't lose anyone and those at the back have a continually changing selection of folks to chat to.
Route will be something like this:
https://osmaps.ordnancesurvey.co.uk/route/1501152/-STW-Cotswold-Bimble-17th-Sept
After ride refreshments in the Crown (probably)
I'll be trying my best to be there on time. Don't think I'll be able to go to the pub though. I'll be riding back with one eye on jumping on a train if (let's be honest, when) I'm flagging.
Just a little start of the week bump
aaaand a Tuesday bump
Still planning to come - though small chance family could scupper it
Do most the guys and girls already know each other, or are the plenty of newcomers like me?
Gutted I can't come. Looks like a nice loop!
Enjoy all.
un petite bumpeuse pour la mercredi, as they say in France
Currently suffering with the lurgy, hoping to be fit enough to make it
I'm not going to be able to make it, even if I get the train both ways. Very sorry.
Boo and double boo 🙁
When did Cirencester get a train station?
When did Cirencester get a train station?
1841. It closed in 1964 mind, and if that hadn't happened we'd never have got a Waitrose, so there's something to thank Dr Beeching for
Monksie was looking at riding to Ciren from Stockport (yup, really) and then getting the train back from 'Nam.
I'm hoping for a miraculous recovery so not giving up hope or letting you off the hook yet
Might still be on. Juggling medication. I was really looking forward to it.
El bumpo del jueves, como lo talkos en Espanol
Final Friday bump.
See you Sunday, assuming anyone shows up.
How many 'more or less' confirmed, IHN?
Er, approximately some. Possibly more, probably fewer.
I'll be there regardless, either on my Billy No Mates or looking like some weird version of the Pied Piper of Hamelin, except with fewer children and more middle aged IT nerds on bicycles.
Deffo not coming, got a throat full of razor blades. If someone could step up & have my share of any cake/pastry/beer I'd be grateful
I'm a definite. I don't own an Audi unfortunately, so I don't qualify as an official STW attendee.
White single speed Inbred.
See you in the morning.
Radar proof Private Jake.
Tang - I'm riding over if you fancy it.
Smashing, looks like I won't be on my Billy after all.
I am a definite too. See you in the morning.
I'm confirmed barring no unplanned hangover etc. You lot better not be fast.
Not in an Audi or T5 so I'll park out of sight
Sorry to be ignorant and lazy....any close parking near the HSBC???
Yes.
I won't be there tomorrow, have fun
any close parking near the HSBC???
Loads of parking in town, none of it far from the centre.
That crash is tragic. It would affect you from Devon, but I'd imagine it'll be reopen by morning. You can always come up the M4 and come via Malmesbury.
I won't be there tomorrow, have fun
Boo.
I will be attending on my gnaaaarpooon.
Hopefully I'll be there, provided my journey down goes to plan
I'm a definite.
That'll learn me for tempting fate.
Just got back from the hospital with my little girl. I suspect I won't make it tomorrow.
Bollaux.
I'm back on. See you there.
A top bimble with a solid half dozen riders, many thanks to Simon for organising & guiding, nice to meet the others too, lovely autumn weather. Cheers.
Seconded; thanks again for organising a great few hours riding! Lovely bunch of people, great weather, marching band, beautiful scenery... What more could anyone ask for?
Only failed to make one climb!
First class bimbling all round, cheers chaps.
When i get a chance, i may arrange another if there's any interest.
As above, great scenery, great ride, great people and a pint to finish it off
Thanks for organising and leading IHN
Great day out, thanks for waiting for me at every gate
