I have hope m4's and some formula The One brakes, front and rears of both...
The hopes have a lazy piston and are going to be looked at to try and sort, but can I mix hope mc's with the formula caliper?
I never managed a good bleed that would not go soft with the formula brakes so I'm reluctant to fit these again. They were great when they worked for a bit, but a pain to keep bled and working, they always seemed to ingest air....
Assuming th e formulas use dot fluid then no damage will be done. It might not work well if they use different piston sizes tho.
Just try it for yourself and report back! I've paired a SRAM Rival 1 lever with a Hope Mono-mini caliper and it's been absolutely fine.
