Hi everyone I am a newbee.

Can someone please help me, I have a Calibre Dune Fat Bike and have just ordered some 26x4.80 tyres but I am having doubts if they will fit on the rear ?

Cheers.

Dune takes a 197mm rear hub and with the exception of using Snowshoe 2XLs on 100mm rims will take most tyres out there. Many fat bike tyre sizes are optimistic - those listed at 4.8" often measure nearer 4.5" at best. What tyres have you got? If you ask on the UK Fat Bike Club FB page someone is probably running that tyre already.

I use Minion 4.8 DHR and 4.8 Jumbo Jim (which is a bit smaller) in mine, I'm not sure if it'd work well with the original dual ring? But it's fine with my single.

I put a Bud in and it was pretty funny, when I pumped it up high to get it to seal tubeless, it expanded and jammed in the frame. But at my riding pressures there was loads of room. Very stretchy tyre but I don't think anyone would ever want to ride one at 20psi anyway
