Looking for some insight, if anyone is out that way.
Considering a trip over to Hebden Bridge for some steep tech trails - usual stuff, Peckett well, Barely legal, Midgets pit, Slack tracks etc. etc.
Anyone know how its holding up after the recent rain?
Thanks for any tips
I may be wrong but barely legal has been shut by the land owner by way of dropping logs all over it.
Nice and dry over the Burnley side with a few soggy bits.
Nothing to worry about.
Busy though......

🙁
That's annoying
Can anyone confirm?
Busy though……
Thanks - If I go, I'll be going late
Can anyone confirm?
Logs, branches, rocks, sign on a rope across the path.
Bawls. So I won't be riding it then 🙁 🙁
Is it not a public FP though? Can you walk down it given the rope, logs etc?
It's not any form or right of way
As above, land owner has got mega pissed with people digging all over in that (their) wood and closed it down.
Conditions wise, sketchy on the wet bits but not too bad a few miles east so should be good.
Went over tonight, was riding well. A bit soft in places however in no way a mud bath.
Also, barely legal was fine? Unless I'm getting myself confused about the names. Basically the drop from here into the blue pig bridleway was all good. No sign of any blockages.
That is Barely Legal. Maybe the signs have been removed - I don't think it was that trail which the landowners had an issue with but the multitude of trails shooting off to the left as you go down...
The recently put up signs on Lee bank have all but disappeared, and a lot of the logs and debris have been moved or removed. There's signs of all the dicey stuff being ridden recently as well. Given that the landowners had blocked off a FP, I think they've had second thoughts. It's a shame as I know local organisations have tried to reach out to them about the trails, and I tried to get in touch, but (understandably) they've gone with blockages and signs which (as most folk recognised) weren't going to put people off riding the trails, and haven't lasted
Conditions otherwise are all good. Few puddles, nothing dramatic.
