My current office actually borders the woodland at Caesar's Camp. It looks lovely as I drive past it but how much riding is there? Enough to kill a couple of hours?

Dunno, hence the question. There are a few Caesar's Camp place names dotted around.

If it's the Aldershot one then yes there's enough there to keep you occupied for an hour or two. Plus lots of surrounding Army land etc.

Yes, and yes 🙂

How likely are you to get shot at/shelled/blown up on that army land?

Well I think there is no live firing but could still be flash bangs smoke and men running around firing blanks. So more possbile routes in that neck of the woods

Also worth contacting the Tunnel Hill Trolls

No live firing at Caesars Camp, it's always "open" to Joe Public.

men running around firing blanks.

Hehe.. that'd spice up an evening ride quite nicely!

There is loads of riding at Caesar's, easily enough for a couple of hours but it's difficult to find your way around if you don't know it. Strictly speaking, public access is not allowed when there is training going on but in practice it's rarely a problem. As mentioned above, the Tunnel Hill Trolls arrange rides in the area, sometimes at Caesar's.
