You don't need to be an 'investor' to invest in Singletrack: 6 days left: 95% of target - Find out more
I've got 3 hours to myself tomorrow (inc travel time). Are there any trails I could ride near by?
I did Braichmelyn the other day and that was cool though the blacks were beyond me.
BTW you North Welsh people are so friendly!!! Definitely different to what I'm used to. Just saying.
Beddgelert forest would be ok not strictly a trail centre but there are a few miles of fireroads with a few small singletracks dotted around, you could ride. Once home to the uk national mtb championhip in the 90s xc,dh and hillclimb in one weekend!
Check out lon gwyrfai runs through the middle.
Only 1/2 hr from caernarfon
Park at the top end of the forest
More of a gravel ride than a blue, but Lon Las Ogwen from Bangor to Llyn Ogwen in Snowdonia is a very, very pretty. It’s pretty much an ‘out and back’ route though unless you fancy mixing with traffic on the A5. Still heartily recommended.

Yes, the Lon Las Ogwen trail is nice. And you can visit the unusual 10-seater "communal lavatory" at the end:
Porth Penhryn
Have a look at Moel y Ci by Bethesda or for more XC/mountain wilderness check out Colwyd loop.
Much thanks folks. Got out at 630am this morn - stunning views.
Will beg and grovel tomorrow to get the Lon Las Ogwen trail under my belt.
From Caernarfon you could check out Dinorwic Slate Mines (opposite side to Snowdon). An easy loop essentially heading from Brynrefail, up towards Marchlyn Mawr, over to the Mines, down to Nant Peris, and then back along road/lake trail to Brynrefail. Very easy to navigate.
