Got 2 sets of BB7's but one is wearing out. 4 years of gravel bashing, maybe 15000 + miles. Not going full hydro as that means 11 speed, a new groupset, new wheels and I can't stay Campag.
So, my options are narrowed to either Hope V twins or The Juin Tech R1's.
Anyone tried both? Oomph and ease of maintenance are important. Both will do the job but I would like informed comparisons.

What about TRP HY/RD? Got a pair sitting on my workbench waiting for my new ''cross frame.

I've been considering the Juin Techs for a while too - also campag and 10-speed - and the whole thing is a lot neater and smaller than the hy/rd, and cheaper. I'd also be interested to hear of anyone's experiece with the R1's..?

I've had mechanical disc for ages, been through BB5's and currently R517s. Neither has been entirely satisfactory and i'm bored of the constant adjustment and fiddling, and not enough effortless power.
