Looking for a bit more stopping power than Spyres and I've not experience of these cable to Hydraulic solutions,
Looked at Road hydraulic and the prices are just eye watering!!
The Giant Conduct seems bulky?
What's the goto solution for a reasonable budget.?
Juins are ok but a bit delicate, TRP HY/RD are more robust but heavier. Set up right they are nearly up to full hydro but since planet x sells sram hrd for 225 (shifters+calipers) I've since gone that way.
The conduct looks bulky but comparing my conduct SL back to back with a friend's juins was like going back to the trp cables. The conduct is significantly better.
I’ve juin tech on my winter cx hack, which I used most weekends this winter, for a couple of years, the brakes have been fine, not delicate in any way ime. This bike lives outside and gets a fair amount of use.Mrs kilo has them on her commuter, again no problems.
If I had to change I’d probably go giant conducts just on cost, as you say going full hydro is £££s, more so as this bike is still ten speed.
The conducts tend to be chepa on eBay if you shop carefully, you can often get whole sets that include the light and garmin holders (which nicely obscure the bulk). Just go for the SL as it is easier to setup. This is typically flatmount but tektro calipers are identical and cheap. If by some change your frame and fork are flatmount and you can find a cheap master cylinder I would sell my flat moutn calipers cheaply as I convered to postmount.

Is Shimano road 10spd the same cable pull as 11spd?

Juin R1s seem to be working well for me so far.
Had Spryes before - probably fairly comparable power to well set up Spryes. But Spryes took hours of fettling to get them in the sweet spot.

Spyres worked far better for me than the Juins through a couple of seasons of cross racing and commuting. The front Juin wasn't so bad the rear on the other hand was a constant pain as the piston let in water, seized a lot and didn't move freely. I'd go for the Carbon Spyres if you can get them. The fact that the lever arms pulls both pistons is a massive plus over other cable systems.
If you're using Spyres, try new pads, the OEM ones are awful.

It does look better as it was designed to sit flush with the chain stay/fork from the beginning, rather than post mount which allowed manufacturers to put the caliper between the mounts.
I upgraded from Spyre to Conducts a few months ago and the difference was huge. Hard to see how ‘proper’ hydraulics could be much better tbh

I've got the Acor ones that are the same as Juin Tech. I've had them for a few years and there's no complaints from me, they're much better than the Promax Render Rs and Avid BB5S I've used.
I've never used any of the TRP offerings so can't compare. My brother has the Zoom Xtech brakes and seems happy with them
I have hy/rds on mine, tbh I've never used any other road hydraulics so I can't really give much of an informed opinion except that they're absolutely hideous but they work really, really well. I think most people wouldn't realise it's a cable/hydro combo if they weren't told.

I attempted to rebuild mine but the bleed is a faff and I've given up.
The conducts are much better than spyres - by a long way IMO, even with aftermarket pads in the spyres to replace the awful originals.
In the flesh, they don't look anything like as bulky as in the pics, in fact I think they're very neat. I think they look better than the cable-hydro hybrids that do the conversion on the caliper.

Ah, mine's on the seatstay - hopefully I won't have too many problems. Not had them too long though, and not ridden in too much crap, so we'll see.
Just noticed though, the range of piston movement does seem a little short. Can't use the end of a set of pads in them.
the other advantage to cable/hydro brakes is when you bin a road bike the levers always get nailed which you don't mind too much when you have cable shifters, I'd cry if i binned it with hydro's

Yep chainstay caliper got crap in the rod and it jammed on a moors night right miles from home... It was changed under warranty but then the arm snapped on the front so I went TRP HyRd which are better sealed and pretty solid. I only changed to full hydros as my new bike came with them.

Yes it was hard to ditch Juins for HyRds from an aesthetic / weight view point but they do work well.

Just perspective I suppose. I've just put hydros on Mrs Foos bike and despite small hands she tells me they are way more comfy, standard shifters now look and feel too spindly having used hydros for a while - a bit like seeing a narrow bar xc bike you wonder how you put up with it.
