Certain death or viable alternative to Juin Tech / Acros / TRP?

I looked at these and then ponied up the extra for the Acros.
I think if I was going to give them a go I'd do it one brake at a time with a known good one on the other wheel.
Depends on pad availability too, if you can't get them easily/cheaply it's not such a bargain. At least the Juin/Acros ones use Shimano pads so they are available from all the usual places.

I've been wondering about this too but for am everyday bike I'm sick of cable discs on. It's 5700 and I've no interest in groups etc upgrade so proper hydraulic options are out and it's cable operated calipers.

The TRP ones have been getting the STW love for years, but the Juin ones look better to me.

Anyone experience of both?

What cable pull are they? MTB or road levers?

Road Shimano Sti's in my case. Don't want to need to replace wheels and full group to go 11sp and gain full hydraulic on my daily ride...
