Hi,

I'm fitting mudguards to 2017 Cannondale Caadx

Rear is on fine.

The front appears to mount to a hole in the back of the forks but this hole is too big for the bolts.

Does anyone know how these fit??

Yea seems odd that Cannondale would have a larger hole threaded for mudguards than what comes standard with a set

I also have the same issue. Any idea what bolt size I need or is it trial and error.

M6 x about 12mm long should do it.

I’ve tried an m6 and it feels a bit tight. I wondered whether a 5.5exists?

Mudguards don't come with bolts for the mudguard bridge though.

THe mudguard bridge is normally clamped in place by a brake caliper (which uses an M6 thread).

No, it's definitely an M6, I have one installed in my forks.

Thanks for the advice, an m6 worked perfectly.

Sorry to jump in but what mudguards are you using. I've currently got Zefal Trails but the coverage is poor and I would prefer some full length jobs. Cheers.

I use SKS Bluemels 42mm on mine, works a treat!
