My only ride right now is a Remedy 8, which is great. More than good enough for me, nice and playful.

Before lockdown I was entering the Welsh Enduro Series. I fully plan to do that but it'll likely now be next year.

In the meantime, I've been using a Wattbike for structured workouts and that's going well. I've always been shit at climbing so I need to do indoor/gravel as part of my training.

I'm now starting a new job so I'll soon have c2w.

I need help with options which are:

1. Keep Remedy. Buy gravel bike on c2w. Smart turbo trainer.
2. Sell Remedy. Buy sensibly-priced gravel bike and turbo with the cash. Scratch my itch and get a Yeti FS on c2w.
3. Keep Remedy. Scratch my itch and get a Yeti Arc on c2w. And use that on the turbo trainer.

Now I've typed it out I think I can see the obvious. But WWSTWD?

Bearing in mind that either Yeti would see me over-biked. Yet...40% off on c2w 😊.

Ah, to add. I'm in the Peak District, Ladybower etc. are right on my doorstep for gravel training rides. Then peaks are there for the obvious.

Yeti obsession is due to Giove, Tomac and Furtado when I was racing in my teens.

So no SC suggestions please 😊

2.

Or - 2a. Sell Remedy. Buy sensibly-priced Spangly gravel bike and turbo with the cash. Scratch my itch and get a Yeti FS on c2w.

I have a turbo in the garage and it is great as when the weather is shocking I just go in there. However, if I didn’t have one when the weather is shocking I’d be out on a bike (mostly). Spend the turbo cash on a better gravel bike, then when the weather is shocking ride that or the Yeti FS.

Are you sure your new employer has unlimited value on C2W? Mine has kept the limit at £1000.

Yep, absolutely sure on the limit.

Which is odd, they're 100% remote and my permanent place of work is home.

I guess I could add a loop of the garden in to my usually home office commute.
