I’ve asked around for a while now but no real answers, or just more bikes, I want to stick as close as possible to the magic £1k but can stretch and add some funds.

The bike will be used to commute to work via canals twice a week and then train to Cannock for a blast round, want to get my biking up and fitness increased during the summer, with my back injury I want to make the most of the good weather when we get it and bike as much as possible. I’ve narrowed it to a couple....

Trek Procaliber 6, the isolink is interesting but the money seems in the frame, I’m unsure about the Judy forks but it looks like they will take plus tyres?

The other is an orange clockwork evo which is closer to my budget and means less upfront, I’ve wanted to get another orange for a while but as it’s c2w has to be the right bike...
